An engineer by training, Ivan Kislov lives in the Chukotka region in the north-east of Russia.
When he is not working, he travels to the most isolated places of his native Russia or the rest of the world, sometimes walking for days on end.
He photographs the animals living in these arctic climates with a special sensitivity, recalling a certain naturalist approach. For him, photography, coupled with hiking, is a real hobby, which allows him to escape from the routine of everyday life.
